Lovely little cafe with great selection of hot and cold food and drinks. Struggled narrowing down what I wanted! Ended up with a kombucha and soup. Everything was perfect and the perfect spot to have lunch in before catching a train. Can’t wait to visit again.
We love Short and Stout! Great coffee and food although we haven’t been able to order anything other than the Sobrasada Benedict... it’s just that good.
Ran past this place on my morning run and returned for coffee and breakfast. What a gem! The coffee is excellent and the nutty smoothie bowl was delicious.
Second visit to Short Stout and had a great experience both times. The food is delicious, staff are super friendly and the coffee is spot on. Yet to try the sweet treats but they look very yummy. Overall, a great place.
Brain-tingling food and superb coffee. I was very impressed by the unique dishes served, e.g., the sobrasada benedict. The only fault this place has is not having more seats; it deserves all the merit.
This was my second visit in seven days to this little eatery on Ermine road. The staff are always smiley and super friendly and the food really different! My large latte coffee was deliciously creamy and smooth, not bitter at all (I asked for the biggest mug they had and they were very obliging!). I had the corn and cauliflower fritters but instead of the Halloumi cheese I was able to swap and have avocado instead. This was dish was very filling and the mint yoghurt dressing was a lovely touch. I would recommend a visit, they are dog friendly and plan to open up the basement some time in the future for more seating! would recommend.
Busy little cafe for eat-in and takeaways. Friendly staff, offering table service. The coffee is strong! There is a good selection of cake and they don't skimp on the size (see wedge of chocolate cake pictured). I enjoyed a coffee and muffin, though there are also brunch options.
Always lovely staff and the hash brown bites are incredible
